terms Search Office of the Controller Toggle navigation About Departments Financial Reports Payroll Home Departments Payroll The Payroll Department is a unit of the University Controller’s Office that processes all App State payrolls, deductions, and payroll tax withholdings. This department complies with federal and state laws governing the taxation and reporting of wages. The payroll team serves university departments and employees through timely and accurate salary and wage payments, timekeeping, and leave reporting. Release of Payroll Information Payroll information will only be released to an employee or their designee with a written authorization from the employee.
